McCormick defeats Team Lank to earn a spot at the upcoming 2010
Winter Olympics – as well as a berth in the upcoming World Curling

St. Paul Curling Club member Allison Pottinger, second Nicole
Joraanstad, and lead Natalie Nicholson - held Patti Lank to 1 in the
nine end, to come home with the hammer to score an additional two in the
tenth end. Lank missed an important center guard with her last stone in

It is with heavy heart that I need to
announce the passing of Louise Dolliver. This morning Louise lost
her long battle with cancer. She leaves behind husband Frank,
children Tracy, Callie, Lee and Brett. Avid curler and jokester
Louise always knew how to liven up a room. For those of you that
did not know Louise please visit the
Caring Bridges Website. Last
count she only had 12,867 visitors! I propose we lift a glass and
toast her, "You may have left the building but you have not left our
hearts". Funeral notice and details to follow. The curling community has lost a true
friend.
