SPCC member Pauline Shutte passes away.

SPCC members,
I regretfully announce another member of our extended curling family has passed. Pauline Shutte, mother of Paula (John) Armstrong, Jon (Jean) Shutte, grandmother of Jodi (Jeremy) Sigel, Rob Armstrong, Keri (Tim) Doffing and Tricia (Chris) Sterling, great-grandmother of Halle and Tanner Sterling, passed away Monday morning, April 17th. Pauline loved the game of curling, having played for 40 years and was a charter member of the women’s league in Eveleth, MN. Over the years, many knew Pauline as “Mama” Shutte and had the pleasure of being welcomed into her home during bonspiel weekends in Eveleth. Jon – a past SPCC president, and Paula have been active SPCC members for many years, contributing their many talents to the good of the club. Visitation is Thursday, 4/20 from 5:00-8:00pm at the Cron Sheehy Mortuary in Eveleth. A memorial service will be held Friday morning at 11:00am at Resurrection Church in Eveleth.
