Ranger Spiel |

Primary purpose is to raise money for scholarships to be given to needy
students at four of the Community Colleges on the Iron Range in Northern
Minnesota. Proceeds go to scholarships that are presented to students
attending one of the
following
four Colleges:
Hibbing Community College;
Mesabi Range Community & Technical College
in Virginia; Vermillion Community College in Ely and Itasca Community
College in Grand Rapids. |

Regular Entry Fee $200,

Registrations using official
entry form by mail only accepted if postmarked after 12:00 Midnight January
2, 2008. Early registrations will be returned. |

Prizes: |
First event winner gets something symbolic of
the iron mining industry (shovels, pickaxes, ball bearings). Other prizes
are nominal and donated by individuals and businesses. Team prize drawings
and raffle cap off a fun-filled Saturday night. Anyone having prizes to
donate to continue the tradition of fun that this bonspiel represents should
