SPCC PARKING LOT ALERT

A member had his window smashed and a laptop stolen from his car. Auto break-ins have been an ongoing problem the past several years. Please keep all valuables in your trunk or bring them into the club. I would suggest that you don’t leave anything in sight. If you see any suspicious activity, please alert the management. - Bob Nelson, President SPCC

VOLUNTEER(S) NEEDED

I am looking for a few volunteers who would be interested in updating (via a special form on the website) league standings for one or more leagues. No computer experience is necessary.  I currently have two volunteers, but still need a number of people for a number of leagues.  You do NOT need to curl in the league that you are recording. Per league, it would take about 10 minutes of your time per week.

You would need to coordinate with the club manager (Scott or Dex) to obtain their "draw results slips" (the small pieces of paper filled out by the thirds after each game). Then, after they have finished with them on a weekly basis, update this "Win/Loss" information on the website.

Scott would have these slips in an envelop ready for you, and you can them make the updates via the website from home, or work.

Please send me a note back if you are interested, or want more information.

Last year's league standings were maintained by 2 or 3 people. Many people found this useful (and fun) information to have available via the website. Last year's standings can be looked at by clicking here. The link on the website has been removed (temporarily) for now until I set up all the teams. - Neil Marriott, The Web Guy
