Welcome St. Paul Curling Club member. Based on approval from the SPCC board of directors, we have created this e-mail list to help members both send and receive communications regarding the sport of curling and activities that are happening at our club. You may elect NOT to become a member of this e-mail list - but we are hoping that you will accept.
E-mail lists are NOT spam lists - we are only allowing actual members of our club to belong to this list. Even though non-members will be able to view the archives of posted messages throught the web - your e-mail address will NEVER be revealed.
How do e-mail lists work? In it simplest form - once you have clicked the "Join this Group" button shown below, you will become part of the St. Paul Curling Club e-mail community. You will then be able to send a single e-mail to spcurl@yahoogroups.com and approximately 600 of the 864 members of our club will receive that e-mail. RULES:
- Keep e-mails relating to the topic of curling, or SPCC related. Need a spare? Looking for players for an upcoming spiel - or even a league for next year? Selling a broom, curling shoes? These are good topic ideas.
- Advertising of products or non-curling posts are simple not allowed
- Rants, speaches, jokes, chain letters should not be posted
- Once joined, at the bottom of each e-mail are instructions on how to unsubscribe at any time.
We are hoping that by creating this e-mail list that new curlers will help understand the game more, and feel more like our true curling community that we are.
